Meade 1010-90-05 Review: Buyer beware. I read lots of reviews about these and the only negative thing I found was that amazon.com was not including the tripod with some of their telescopes. I read further and found that these customers had also paid around $500 less for their telescope. So, that seemed somewhat feasible although stupid.This telescope can be purchased for the exact same price anywhere else with the tripod for $2,399.
